Yume Sushi in chadstone

I have great sentimental memories and nostalgia with this place. Many years ago, more than ten, i really wanted to try ramen because the main character from the anime naruto really loved the stuff! And this was the first place where i saw it on the menu. I came back with my sister and her friends and we all tried the ramen and we loved it! I have subsequently come back many times over the years, including taking my family. My parents love it. We actually just came back from taking my dad here for fathers day. Im so glad this place is still here after all these years, and they still have the spicy chicken ramen that i order every time!

Its just a little food court japanese place and i dont know how others view it. But i see it through the rose coloured glasses of sentimentality and nostalgia. Its one if my fav places to eat ramen (maybe even absolute top), simply because of the memories associated with it. And i still find the food delicious and it hits the spot. I dont care about authenticity, or fancy restaurants, i just love this place and hope it is always around :)

Three Bean Timtams

My friend Smalls let me try some of these three bean tim tams. Vanilla, coffee and chocolate flavour. Yuuuuumm!!! I like it. Now to try it after sucking milk through it! :)

Ice cream donut - All Day Donuts

Hanh and i attended day of the donut event at flour market today. So much fun. When i saw they had ice cream donuts, i had to try one!

It was delicious!! The donut plus jocks ice cream and chocolate combo, mmm mmm mmm :D

All Day Donuts is at 12 edward st brunswick :) im sure their other donuts are amazing too :D

Fish Tacos food truck

Hanh told me she has a friend who would ride their bikes to go to this food truck for the fish tacos. We went to day of the donut event at flour market in brunswick today, and saw the taco truck. We had to try it!

And it was delicious!! If you see this food truck:

I recommend you try thr fish tacos! I liked the corn chips it came with too, very unique :)

The food truck i hear circulates around yarraville, northcote etc. hope u spot it!

Ah, nostalgia. Mcdonalds cookies!

Ahh... I have not had mcdonalds cookies since i was in primary school i think, at my friends mcdonalds bday party. I always remembered them fondly. Today when i went into mcdonalds and took a look at the muffin counter, i spotted boxes of cookies and the child inside my leapt for joy haha. I have not seen them in ages. Maybe theyve always been available but i never thought to get them. Well i got them today and they were delicious. Dripping with nostalgic goodness haha. Well they taste a lot like teddy bear biscuits actually, but i really enjoyed eating them :) this was at the mcdonalds in collingwood

And i followed instructions on box and turned it into a jumping frog :D he happens to be camouflaged into my bag, like a good frog should be! :)

One Piece Plus cafe in balwyn!

I am a massive fan of One Piece, so when my friend rebekah told me she foubd a cafe she thinks id like, and told me what it was, i had to go check it out!

Its at 266 whitehorse rd balwyn. And when i was walking down the road to find it, i suddenly saw this

Omg, i nearly jumped out of my skin in excitement!

After doing some super excited facebook statuses and messaging Bek to say thank you, i headed inside, and was not disappointed.

Ice cream from IL Dolce Freddo!

My sis said her friend recommended this icecream to her, and her description to my sister was "when i tasted it, i lost my s#%t!"

Tonight my sis brought home 2 takeaway containers, one of pandan, one durian.

Now ive had great icecream and gelati before, so i wondered if this would have any effect on me?

Well i took one bite and ran for my phone camera! So delicious!!! The pandan was nice and creamy!!! Ohhhhh... And im glad i started liking durian this year :)
